The Italian fashion house has joined forces with Sotheby’s to execute a charitable auction to benefit UNESCO educational projects across the globe. According to the Italian fashion house, the highly anticipated auction lot will focus on Prada’s F/W2020 campaign visuals from both the men’s and women’s runway shows, which “juxtapose backstage photography and precious artifacts, presented as in pages from an auction catalogue.”
Artifacts up for auction will include photographic prints, show invitations and runway props – all of which have been pulled from the Prada Fall/Winter 2020 men’s and women’s shows.
Bidding for this exciting lot will open on October 2, 2020, with a small selection of items going under the hammer already previewing on the official Sotheby’s website. Details will be released as the opening date draws sooner, with the entire catalogue being unveiled in time for the launch.
